Apple Roses

guys these are literally beautiful…. It’s just such an elegant dessert but it has the most comforting flavor of warm apples, cinnamon, and oozing caramel. So cute for holiday parties or even just for fun 😛

My favorite thing about these is that they are so easy to make its ridiculous. 


4 apples (more or less depending on size but you can always make more if you need)

1c water

1/4 cup lemon juice 

Caramel topping( I used salted caramel, could also use individual caramels)

Cinnamon sugar

1 box (about 6) puff pastry 

1 greased cupcake pan

the first thing you need to do is prep your apples, thinly slice them into half circles a few cm thin. Then put them in a microwave safe bowl add the water and lemon juice and microwave until they are soft ( mine took about 5 minutes )

After your apples are warmed take one of your pastries lay it down and add a thin line of caramel over the middle ( make sure it’s not too thick or it will run). Next you want to place your apples on one half of the puff pastry you can use the caramel as a divider.

Make sure to leave a little bit of the arch sticking over the edge of the pastry but not enough for the apple to slip out. 

  Then just sprinkle with cinnamon and fold the empty half of the pastry slowly over the apples. Next you want to gently and slowly roll the pastry up from one end to another and quickly pop it into a greased cupcake pan and bake on 450•F for around 20 minutes, keep checking them and once they’re done they will be beautiful wilted roses.
